April 3, 2012: Flint will take over as president of Schubert Flint Public Affairs and "lead a restructuring and rebranding" to "focus the company exclusively on serving corporate, governmental, nonprofit and trade association clients," according to an announcement. Frank Schubert, founder of Schubert Flint Public Affairs, announced that he is leaving the firm he founded because he does not want "work on social issues to continue to overshadow the people who work for me, or the clients we serve." In 2008 Schubert successfully led the Yes on Proposition 8 campaign to prohibit same-sex marriage in California. Source: The Sacramento Bee http://totalcapitol.com/?news_id=5038510
