Wilcox is the spokesman for the Missouri-based Take Initiative America group. The tax-exempt group was formed Sept. 10, 2007, according to the organization's incorporation documents. A day later, the group donated $175,000 to fund a petition-gathering that would get the so-called Presidential Election Reform Act on the June, 2007 ballot.

-- Currently adjunct faculty at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School of Communication

-- Previously, Wilcox was a spokesman and speechwriter for Bill Simon and former Governor Pete Wilson
