April 3, 2012: Schubert announced that he is leaving Schubert Flint Public Affairs, the firm he founded, because he does not want "work on social issues to continue to overshadow the people who work for me, or the clients we serve." Jeff Flint will take over as president of the firm and "lead a restructuring and rebranding" to "focus the company exclusively on serving corporate, governmental, nonprofit and trade association clients," according to the announcement. 2008: Schubert is a consultant and spokesperson for the Yes on Proposition 8 campaign.
