June 2012: Lehane stepped down as leader of the Think Big arena group in Sacramento, but will continue as an advisor to the group. Kunal Merchant will take over leadership of Think Big. Source: Sacramento Business Journal

Jan. 2009: Lehane was chosen by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson to co-chair the newly formed Sacramento First task force. Sacramento First is a citizens group charged with making recommendations for an entertainment and sports complex in Sacramento.

Jan. 2009: Lehane co-founded LFM Campaigns, a consulting firm expected shape to non-partisan ballot initiative campaigns. Other founders include: democratic consultants Mark Fabiani and Ace Smith; republican consultants Steve Schmidt and Adam Mendelsohn.

Lehane received a law degree from Harvard Law School in 1994. His received his undergraduate degree from Amrherst College in 1990. He lives in San Francisco.
