February 2007: Fleischman was elected Vice Chairman, South, of the California Republican Party.

Fleischman served two and a half years as a member of the California Boating and Waterways Commission, as appointed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Fleischman was deputy director for media and public relations for the Orange County Sheriff's Department, where he still volunteers as a uniformed Reseve Deputy Sheriff.

1999-2001: Fleischman was executive director of the California Republican Party.

Fleischman was campaign coordinator for the successful Proposition 227 which ended the practice of bilingual education in California public schools.

1995-1997: Fleischman served as President of the California Republican Assembly.
