April 2009: Dunmoyer appointed by Schwarzenegger to the CalPERS Board.

December 2008: Dunmoyer hired to a national, executive position as Head of State Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for Farmers Insurance and Zurich Financial Services in the United States.

December 2005 - October 2008: Dunmoyer was deputy chief of staff and cabinet secretary under Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Dunmoyer was replaced by Victoria Bradshaw.

1989-2005: Dunmoyer worked at the insurance lobby Personal Insurance Federation of California. He served as PIFC president and CEO from 1996-2005.

Previously Dunmoyer worked in the California State Legislature where his service included Chief Administrative Officer for the State Assembly Republican Caucus; and as the Senior Consultant for the Assembly Finance and Insurance Committee.
