Nov. 2008: Huff was elected to the 29th Senate District.

Nov. 2004: Huff was elected to the 60th Assembly District.

1995-2004: Huff served as a council of the City of Diamond Bar. He was Mayor in 1997 and 2001.

Previously:
-- Huff served on the Diamond Bar Planning Commission and the Diamond Bar General Plan Advisory Committee.

-- Huff worked in the agricultural industry and was Vice President in a grain handling corporation.

-- Huff was manager-owner of the Ray S. French Company, an independent commodity wholesaler, shortly after he moved his family to Diamond Bar in 1983.

-- Huff served as vice president of the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments.

-- Huff was President of the Foothill Transit Executive Board.

-- Huff was founding Chairman and Executive Board Member of the Alameda Corridor East (ACE) Construction Authority.

-- Huff was a founding member of the Tres Hermanos Conservation Authority.

-- Huff is active in a local chapter of the California Lincoln Club.

-- Huff and his wife, Mei Mei, have three sons and a daughter.
