Nov. 2007: AD22 frontrunner Rod Diridon dropped out of the races leaving Fong the apparent favorite.

Oct. 2007: Then-candidate Rod Diridon commissioned a poll from Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin & Associates of 400 voters likely to vote in the Democratic primary put Diridon in the lead, followed by Fong and then Dominic J. Caserta.
