October 2007: Took over as campaign chairman for the proposed ballot initiative Presidential Election Reform Act

1990-2007: Rollins consulted on the campaigns of Michael Huffington for U.S. Senate, New York State Senate contender Kathleen Troia "KT" McFarland, New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman for Gov., U.S. Representative Katherine Harris for the U.S. Senate. According to a Wall Street Journal article, the Harris and Rollins had a falling-out, with Rollins not attending a staff meeting in Tampa and quitting a few days later after he questioned the viability of her campaign. Rollins was also involved in Ross Perot's 1992 presidential campaign

1996: Wrote "Bare Knuckles and Back Rooms", an inside look at politics, and snapshots of such figures as Newt Gingrich, Ross Perot, Richard Nixon, the Reagans, and others.

1980's: Was a consultant to former Gov. and President Ronald Reagan, both in his Administration and his campaign for U.S. President (Before joining the campaign Rollins served as Assistant to the President for Political Affairs and Director of the Office of Political Affairs from 1981-83)

1970's: Rollins staffed many offices in the California State Legislature
