No: "Not at this time! This is another proposition that isn't clear! Rather than say "Vote Yes on Proposition 1D", democrats are couching this as "approve Proposition 1D" which immediately raises the public's eyebrows. The public needs to know where the money is coming, details that say that this budget measure should be approved. You still have two weeks of "magic" to go . . . "
No: "Takes money from children's healthcare and puts it into the black hole of the state spending"
No: "Voters will see through this shell game. Moving off budget funding and forcing county agencies to reduce programs is not savings. Most county children programs run by First 5 support the lowest income families in the State. It is estimated that 80% of the children come from families that enrd less then $30k a year. This proposition would force cuts to services. The Governers will be know for crusing one of most successful childrens program in California history. "
